Volunteer Opportunities
Ronald McDonald House Charities
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona exists to improve the health and well-being of children and their families. Through three core programs we create a network of kindness and caring for children and their families. Volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, or drive our Shuttle. Make a donation or view our Wish List. Cook a meal as "Chef for a Day" or join the Red Shoe Society.
Pima Animal Care Center
Join the largest group of lifesavers in Pima County and volunteer to help PACC pets! At PACC, we rely on 1,137 volunteers who contribute a whopping 88,000+ hours of volunteer service annually. That’s the equivalent of 42 full-time staff members. We could not save more than 90% of the pets who come through our doors without our incredible volunteer team. We have volunteer opportunities for all abilities, and we'd be honored to have you join our team!
Tu Nidito
Tu Nidito exists to create a community of acceptance and understanding for those grieving a serious medical condition or death. Our Vision: No child grieves alone. Tu Nidito would not be able to pursue our vision of ensuring no child grieves alone without the time, expertise and dedication of committed volunteers. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities that vary in scope, frequency and time commitment. Many volunteers report that their work is deeply rewarding, and that they truly feel like they are making an impact on the lives of Tu Nidito children and families.
Habitat for Humanity
We deserve to feel strength and stability day after day. We deserve to know we have the power to take care of ourselves and build our own futures. Habitat for Humanity Tucson offers an innovative solution to the crisis of affordable housing by giving a hand up, not a hand out.
We accomplish our mission by building and repairing homes in partnership with the community and local families. We value inclusiveness and win/win partnerships, respect for the dignity of each person, and a commitment to deliver a strong return on the community’s investment in our work.
Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona
Our volunteers do it all, including packing and sorting food, distributing food, working in our community gardens, serving meals at our community kitchen, and helping out in our administrative offices. We welcome volunteers at all of our locations: Tucson, Green Valley, Amado, and Nogales, plus our monthly Mobile Distributions in Marana.
Humane Society of Southern Arizona
At the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, our mission is clear: to compassionately serve pets and the people who love them. Since 1944, we've been a beacon of hope, working tirelessly to ensure every pet receives the care, love, and safety they deserve. Our vision is a future where every pet in our community is cherished, and through our lifesaving programs, thousands of animals find loving homes each year. But we can't do it alone. When you adopt, foster, donate, or volunteer, you become a hero in this mission—helping to save the lives of pets and keep families together.
